The season finale of Bad Monkey, where Yancy shows he might just be the “Cop of the World, was surprising. *Narrator Tom Nowicki, you will be missed and hopefully they will invite you back next season.* The last episode set things up perfectly for this season’s farewell.
*Here there be Spoilers*
This is the end my friends
The aftermath of Hurricane Mel leaves more than property destruction in its wake. “We’re in the Memory Making Business” sees a number of major characters check out.
Most surprisingly, Eve does not get her just deserts on the beach with the newly empowered Dragon Lady. She does, however, get a “reach” from the grave to offer up restitution for her sins.
Nick takes a long fall off of a short pier; his last.
Clasper’s drops Yancy and Neville in the shizzle so plans have to be changed last minute.
Yancy still believes he is the cop of the world and refuses to let go. *This becomes important near the end of the final episode.*
Bonnie touches base with her former cop lover and it is not a stretch to believe she will show up in person.

The wrap up
Bad Monkey was an excellent bit of entertainment. Vaughn and castmates all knocked this one out of the park. The show, based on the book by Carl Hiaasen, was top notch. Quirky, funny and interesting, it goes without saying that if the series was this good, I need to read both Andrew Yancy books asap.
*And one last “aside” if the show does return? More Monaghan please.*
The show, an Apple TV production, is streaming on Apple TV right now. What a surprise, eh?
If you have not watched Bad Monkey yet, why are you wasting time reading this? Go watch it.
