I think a bit to violent for me! My husband might like it though. He studied Japanese for many years and he loves movies of all types.
It’s definitely a great film. There are only a couple of really bloody bits. 🙂
Mike,I’ve never thought of doing a review via video. Very innovative. I think our mutual love for Asian films is embodied in this film. Outrage is a great film. I never would have thought that Takeshi Kitano was involved in comedy at all. It seems to me that his stone face alone would cut that avenue short. What did you think of him in the 2003 Zatoichi?
I LOVED Zatoichi! His focus on the musical sounds in the film made it a brilliant experience. And the csting of Tadanobu Asano as the ronin was brilliant!
I also meant to say that I started doing video “reviews” a couple of years ago. They originally started as me just sharing what I thought of the film and any “extras” I could remember about actors in the film. What can I say, old actors LOVE being in front of the camera. That’s why I jumped at the chance to “star” in Once Bitten, Twice Shy! LOL
My paranoia of being found on the internet prevents me from such bold yet effective ways to convey reviews. Perhaps I will hire and actor to take my place?
LOL
really I am not kidding!
I’d definitely go the actor route then…or pixelate your face…although THAT could be painful… 😉
Hmmm, you don’t sound Japanese…
