Writers/Directors Angelica De Alba and Paul Ragsdale give us the 2025 Comedy/Horror film Onlyfangs. It is a tongue in cheek misogyny allegory as I see it. I mean, the main “master vampire is named “Harvey” for Pete’s sake! As master horror story teller Stephen King himself put it in Danse Macabre, the original vampire tale was all about sex. Mind you, of the Victorian repressed sort, but I’m putting the bat before the sucker, if you know what I mean. Let’s just invite you folks in and allow y’all to read further…
Onlyfangs Story
A wanna-be monster hunter helps a bloodthirsty gang of vampire chicks expand their business. He creates a new app to turn their victims into customers. It is an “OnlyFans” site with bite. (See what we did there?) As the site grows, problems start creeping in by way of some interesting villains.

Let’s Talk Onlyfangs
After watching the whole film, an epiphany was had by moi. The film is all about vampire girl power. AKA; empowerment over the evil men, human and otherwise, who hurt, maim, torture and put down the female of the species. Harvey, there’s that name again, turns human Reese into a vampire and then starves her. This is meant to make her compliant to his wishes.
Scarlett is the new “master” of her ever expanding coterie of female vampires. Their M.O. is to kill all male humans. This means that they have to keep a low profile initially. Wes talks them into changing their lifestyle choices and Onlyfangs is born.
De Alba and Ragsdale give us a world that is darkly and, sometimes, overtly comic. There is plenty of claret (Bl**d) spilt and a few grisly scenes of mayhem. *A below the belt death that is downright cringeworthy to name but one. And that’s all you’re getting from me.*
We have a couple of “unlikely” romances and both are “cute.” In a sort of bloodthirsty way. There are conspiracies, talk of conspiracies and a very small scale war.
It Works
Onlyfangs runs a cool 120 minutes. For all that runtime there is a lot of stuff going on. There are few hiccups along the way, and none of these changes the value of what is on offer. Writers and directors De Alba and Ragsdale have matched, nay, exceeded their 2020 Slasher Horror offering Slashlorette Party. Some of the same stars in this film also worked on Slashlorette. *Click the link above and you’ll see that Marvick, Lynn and Kent all worked on that one. The combo team of De Alba and Ragsdale give great film.*
The pacing is just right, at no time during the run time do you feel the urge to fast forward or scream “Hurry up!” at the screen. This is a good time film, it is enjoyable. There is some partial nudity and a screamingly funny below the belt scene.
Onlyfangs looks brilliant. There are some great touches in plain sight. A Titanic reference and a Thelma & Louise moment, to name but two. The film feels very “derelict” and not too far out of an 1980’s or 90’s time setting. *Apart from a splendid bit with a toy store.* DP Dan Zampa makes the most of every single frame here. Ragsdale does triple duty here as Editor and all the costumes feel tawdry and sexy.
Vampires/Humans
All the female vampires look a cross between pole dancers at a burlesque show and punk rockers. Each character has their own personality. My absolute favorites were the “core” group. Selena, the excitable one, Zooey the “cute” one and Reese, the big kid. Of course their leader, Scarlett who seems to be having the time of her “un-life.” (Sorry.)
Now seems like the time to say those vampire teeth looked brilliant.
On the human side were Wes and Quentin. *A side note about Shane Meyers; who plays Quentin. He is almost the spitting image of a chap I used to work with. At one point I began wondering if he’d run away to play actor. He hadn’t.*
The Verdict
Onlyfangs earns a solid 5 stars. As an allegory for all things misogynistic and a tongue and cheek takeoff of OnlyFans it is a fun ride. As mentioned above, there is plenty of claret to be spilled and some partial nudity. So perhaps leave the kids out of it. The film dropped for DVD/BluRay on December 5. There is a projected release date for streaming in January 2026. Catch this one if you can. Thank me later.
