Z Nation finally gets down to what was apparently their target all along, Z Nado. It seems a foregone conclusion that the company who brought Sharknado one and two to SyFy would feel compelled to add a little tornado action in this tongue-in-cheek zombie fest. Before the twisters come in and start slinging zombies all over the place, the team take a time out for some R & R along with a little additional bonding.

Z Nation: Bill Moseley and Z Nado (Review)
This week’s episode of Z Nation features Bill Moseley in a pretty impressive cameo as the mad-as-a-hatter General with a hole in his leg and previews of the next episode shows that SyFy really did want to make a zombie version of Sharknado, in other words, Z Nado. Of course the show is not meant to be taken seriously and to give Asylum credit the series is entertaining in a campy and cheesy fashion. The producers of the show do not bother to provide answers to any questions raised by any particular turn of events. They are not there to provide logic.

Z Nation: Zombie Stampede and Twinkies
It is hard to denigrate the kind of creativity that comes up with a zombie stampede and gives a huge wink to Zombieland by showing a load of twinkies being eaten by the good guys in the latest episode of Z Nation on SyFy. Not to mention the other nod to The Walking Dead, the comic verse not the television show as they have not covered that issue yet, by having an episode that features a creepy cannibalistic “family.” It should be mentioned that in all fairness, the cannibal angle was covered the The Walking Dead video game.

Z Nation Versus The Walking Dead: Faster Zombies Not Serious
Z Nation on SyFy premiered on Friday, September 12 and so far most have seen it as a competitor to the AMC hit The Walking Dead, as a sort of network “versus” network, but thus far the faster zombies in the new show has not proven to be a serious threat to the other series. For those who watched the new show’s opener, it should have been apparent that this was not a serious attempt to usurp The Walking Dead or even to provide a valid alternative to the verse. Fans of the Georgia based television show about a stalwart band of survivors in a post apocalyptic world know that the Robert Kirkman vision from the comics has a pretty solid fanbase without the television show or the video game.
