‘The Walking Dead’ Consumed: Carol on the Road to Redemption

‘The Walking Dead’ Consumed: Carol on the Road to Redemption

In Consumed, this week’s episode of The Walking Dead Carol continues on her long road to redemption. A journey that she began when Rick booted her out of the the group when she admitted to killing Karen and David. Even though the woman had noble intentions, she was trying to keep the flu thing from sweeping through the prison going so far as to burn the bodies, her act of stepping up to the challenge initially earned her Rick’s banishment and later she had to live with her decision. No doubt the woman felt she acted correctly “in the moment” but she was bothered by the act as shown in Consumed with her flashbacks.

The Walking Dead Strangers: Bob and Food for Thought

The Walking Dead Strangers: Bob and Food for Thought

After watching The Walking Dead: Strangers episode last night and then re-watching, as it was recorded on DVR, there was something about Bob and the one-sided conversation he was having with Gareth that provided something more than chills as the Terminus survivors nibbled on Stookey’s leg, pardon the pun, but the whole interaction provided a bit of food for thought. Of course there were many questions that needed answering by the end of this episode of The Walking Dead.

The Walking Dead: Season Five Who Is in That Car

The Walking Dead: Season Five Who Is in That Car

In The Walking Dead, season five has introduced cannibals, who have made appearances in the game and the comic books, and now it has reintroduced that car with the white cross in the back windscreen and the big question has got to be, who is in that car. Once it turned out that Beth was not on the Terminus menu (And how many people watching the show expected to find some evidence that that plate of barbecue was “rib of Beth?) the whereabouts of the youngest daughter of Hershel has been hanging around in the background.

The Walking Dead No Sanctuary: Carol Rules and Morgan Returns

Since Carol was banished in last season’s The Walking Dead, only to come back after The Governor stormed the prison and the survivors scattered to the four winds, No Sanctuary gave her complete redemption letting Carol rule as the group’s saviour; one non Carol related surprise was Morgan returning and apparently following Rick’s trail. The first question that springs to mind is just why Morgan has shown up now. Is it now his turn to “do a Carol?”

The Walking Dead Season Five Premiere: Carol to the Rescue (Review)

The Walking Dead Season Five Premiere: Carol to the Rescue (Review)

In The Walking Dead season five premiere it is Carol to the rescue as she steps up and takes it to the cannibals at Terminus like a curly headed Rambo. AMC continues to deliver with a show that has viewers on the edge of their seat, looking through their fingers at the action one moment and then sobbing like baby Judith the next. In No Sanctuary it almost all comes together as the gang reunite. It is “almost” since Beth is still missing and as she was not hanging like a side of beef in the Terminus meat locker, she must still be alive.
