The Bridge: Jubilex Season Two Finale (Recap and Review)

The season two finale of The Bridge: Jubilex has everything coming to a head and starts with the two vehicles that Hank and Cross find in last week’s show. Lt Wade stops the semi and Sonya follows the van, she wants to pull the vehicle over and Hank tells her to wait. As Lt. Wade approaches the truck he spies the driver with a pump shotgun, he fires twice and looking under the vehicle he sees blood, the shotgun and a hand. After checking to see if the man is dead, he opens up the back of the semi and finds drugs along with Steven Linder who is barely alive as a result of being shot by Captain Robles in last week’s episode.

In The Bridge: Beholder Fausto has Sebastian’s addicted daughter and he makes a video with the young woman who is obviously going through withdrawal. At the conclusion of the footage Fausto tells Sebastian to, “tell them to stop looking for me.” He then tells the girl’s father that he will blow her brains out if he does not do as instructed. The CIA and the DEA gang up on Detective Cross and take the Eleanor Nacht investigation away from her and the creepy CIA agent asks, in a round about way, about Eleanor’s ledger.

At the start of season two, episode six of The Bridge Jack Dobbs has figured out what those child-like drawings of his brother’s means and by the end of the show Eva escapes. This week’s episode has Dobbs digging up a body, after he deciphers his late brother’s artwork as maps. When he digs under a water tower, he finds the corpse buried there. The prosecutor who wants to help Eva, now has a private bodyguard since his attempted kidnapping in the last episode.
