Watching the latest Breaking Bad episode, Granite State, was an exercise at peeling away layers of the storyline and a lot of the characters in the Heisenberg verse. Especially Walter White. In an almost perfect parallel to the five stages of grief/death, we see Walt exhibiting denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance
With last week’s nail-biting cliffhanger ending; Hank and Gomez crouched behind Hank’s SUV, with Walt huddled in the floorboard of the vehicle and Jesse cowering in Walt’s car, things looked pretty bleak for everyone at the To’hajiilee shootout.
With only three episodes left of Breaking Bad and with the last episode, To’hajiilee ending in an O. K. Corral type shootout, the news that character Saul Goodman is going to feature in an AMC “prequel” is exciting and somewhat disturbing. It sort of makes us wonder if that spells bad news for Saul in the current series.
