American Horror Story Freak Show: Tears of a Twisty Clown

American Horror Story Freak Show used the second half of the Edward Mordrake two parter to show the origins and tears of Twisty the clown. When the legendary carny myth showed up at the freak show’s Jupiter, Florida campground, drawn by Elsa’s rehearsal on Halloween, it seemed the the purveyor of the attraction would be the victim required by the “boogeyman” of the circus world. Instead, the “two-faced” ghost, or demon, learned of several freaks’ deepest secrets, sins and hopelessness. A penalty that all had to pay after Mordrake visited them.

American Horror Story Edward Mordrake Part 2: The Darkest Hour

In Edward Mordrake Part 2 of American Horror Story Freak Show the demon headed myth has arrived at the Jupiter, Florida camp to question the freaks about their darkest hour, the worst moment of their lives and those with the most blood and pain on their hands will be doomed to join the legend and his troupe. At first the dark legend speaks to the “seal boy” and the half-woman. Their tales are sad and bring a tear to the demon on the back of Mordrake’s head. Each have their darkest moments and have committed “sin.”

American Horror Story Freak Show: Being Two Faced Is a Killer

American Horror Story Freak Show this week shows that being two faced is a killer, both figuratively and literally. The episode titled Edward Mordrake Part 1 is about “carny” legend and it features American Beauty actor Wes Bentley as the mythical Lord Mordrake, a member of the aristocracy who had a second face on the back of his head. This spare visage whispered to the poor man driving him mad.
