Amanda Bynes Deja Vu All Over Again

Amanda Bynes Deja Vu All Over Again

The latest news concerning former Nickelodeon actress Amanda Bynes feels a little like Yogi Berra used to day, deja vu all over again. Last year the Easy A star stayed in the news continually for her ever increasingly bizarre behaviour. Just like the most recently reported incidents, the 28 year old performer started out in legal trouble on the West Coast in 2012 and then flew to the East Coast where she got into even more trouble.

Never mind what the news sites have printed about Amanda Bynes and her mental illness problems, it wasn’t true; it was the weed that made her do it, i.e. misbehave and try to burn down a stranger’s driveway. Last year, Bynes was so out of control that the police put her on a 5150 psychiatric hold for, not only, the public’s safety but for her own. The former Nickelodeon star started a downward spiral that ended with multiple arrests and her incarceration in mental hospital.

SNL Still Crazy After All These Years

SNL Still Crazy After All These Years

Watching Canadian singer/songwriter and actor Drake on season 39 episode 11, it becomes clear that SNL is still crazy after all these years. Despite its longevity the show feels the same. After the obligatory introductory skit, which ends with the excited delivery of “It’s Saturday Night,” followed by the dulcet tones of 95 year-old Don Pardo calling off the names of this episode’s players; it almost feels like the viewer has stepped into a time machine and gone back to 1975 when the show first started.
