Under the Dome Penultimate Episode Season Two (Recap and Review)

At long last, Under the Dome has reached its penultimate episode of season two. Had the residents of Stephen King’s Chester’s Mill been trapped that long under the invisible barrier they most likely would have killed and eaten each other by now. By the auspices of CBS the show has managed to drag out a story written by the horror master himself and convolute the plot until interest in the show and the people in it are waning with each passing episode.

Under the Dome: Black Ice (Recap and Review)

Under the Dome: Black Ice looks to be attempting to finish up this over-long adaptation of the Stephen King novel. The author showed his apparent support by showing up in a cameo at the beginning of season two. However, with the slow pace and almost complete deviation from the original source material King may start asking CBS to “let my people go.” With this week’s events the release of the trapped Chester’s Mill residents may not be that far off. There are, after all, only two episodes left in the season and the dome is moving.

Under the Dome: The Fall had Pauline, Barbie and Sam along with Hunter May, Barbie’s dad’s computer expert, make it into Chester’s Mill via the red door and the lake. Kyle apparently does not make it back or at the very least is missing and things in the Mill are changing once again. Leaves on the trees are changing color and the air is turning cold. While Julia looks at the dying leaves with Rebecca, Barbie shows up and interrupts the two women.
