Abound of these folks in our prayers

Mikes Film Talk is primarily my thoughts on films that I have watched past and present. It also contains the odd book review and my thoughts on other subjects. If you like what you read or perhaps disagree with my opinion, please feel free to let me know. Be advised, though, the thoughts and opinions are just that; thoughts and opinions

  1. Several typo’s in my comment, blaming it on my iPhone. True, that’s my excuse and I’m going to use it!

  2. I looked for a place to ask a question of not pertaining to your topic, hope here is on.
I’ve been watching “Idiot Abroad” season 3, the US version. It’s on the SCI channel. I read somewhere it is edited different than the UK series.
It is hilarious! Is it popular over there?

    1. It was for a while at least. I’ve only watched the odd episode by accident as it were. I don’t watch a lot of telly, (with the exception of Come Dine With Me LOL) I separate my time between films, books, writing and coping with being ill-health retired! πŸ˜€

  3. Hi! My name is Sue, and I’m from SlimKicker, a fitness/diet app and website. I found your blog today and it captured my interest!

I’m contacting you b/c we’re about to release a fitness tracker (similar to FitBit) early next year, and are looking for bloggers who would be interested in receiving 1 for free to review when it is out (negative or positive).

Would you be interested in doing this? You can email me at: sue (at) slimkicker (com) with ‘Review’ in the email heading if you are.

Just to let you know, our website SlimKicker basically turns your fitness/diet goals into a level-up RPG game. The tracker will work with the website, and allow people to track calories burned and number of steps they walk automatically. The more they exercise, the more points they rack up! That’s basically how it will work.

Anyway, hope to hear back either way…

    – Sue

  5. Found your blog the difficult way. I saw you had liked something I liked, but when I clicked on your gravatar, I came to your profile and it did not have a link to your blog. If you could edit it and create a link here, I think you’ll get more likes. I’d hate for others to miss out on your musings.
