Longmire Series Shot Down by A&E Network

News that the popular Longmire cowboy detective series has been shot down by the A&E Network after the season three cliffhanger ending has not only puzzled fans but infuriated them. It is apparent to fans of the series that A&E would much rather produce reality television which costs much less to make than this popular scripted television show.

  1. Not even the superior Firefly was saved by fan interference although they did help to get Serenity made…Reality TV is apparently much cheaper to make!

  2. Figures … many good series have gone down the toilet.
    It’s about money, of course.
I can only think of one series that was saved by customer reaction: Star Trek.
