Russian Meteorite Explosion Could Shame Spielberg

This video compilation of the Russian Meteorite explosion is brilliant. Pieced together from private footage and CCTV and traffic camera footage it give a great montage of the event.

It can be found on RT Question More  and it is almost stunning. Looking like a series of scenes from a science fiction film, it almost shames the past master’s of the genre.

It just goes to show that truth is not just stranger than fiction, but it looks more spectacular as well. Enjoy the clip.

  1. Agreed!!! I was pretty much blown away by the footage and the speed that it was put on the net. I guess we’ll have to wait and see if any aliens hitched a ride or not! LOL 😀

  2. Good one Garry! Now wouldn’t it be creepy if “The Thing from Another World” was in one of those meteorites? LOL Great reference!! 😀

  3. Wow!!! Watch the skies!!! Keep watching the skies!!

  4. That would be pretty intense, but I imagine it would have to be released in slo-mo as that puppy was moving!!!!

  5. Amazing stuff. I thought it was a hoax to start with but I’m actually really happy it’s not! Obviously it sucks loads of people were hurt but it’s still kinda cool!

  6. That’s awesome. If only there were footage from the meteorite’s point of view.

  7. I’m guessing that all their police cars are fitted, either that or they all want to get on Russia’s Funniest Videos! LOL Yeah, I have agree amazing footage! 😀
